Housing development Los Andenes

Two rows that adapt to the terrain

On a plot of land of the developing area of the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife of the nineties, the town council proposed the development of a series of interventions of low budget housing projects to enable the relocation of inhabitants from run-down neighborhoods. This group of dwellings is organised in two rows, built separated by a pedestrian walkway, generator of urban value. The first row consists of semi-detached duplexes with access from the lower street. The second row is organized by overlapping flats and duplexes, taking advantage of the gradient between the road behind and the walkway.
