PLANS AND TECHNICAL DETAILS
Updating Comfort While Preserving Historic Identity
The intervention at Iberostar Heritage Grand Mencey focuses on the renovation of guest rooms, furniture and interior spaces, introducing new standards of comfort while preserving the hotel’s emblematic character.
The work on the rooms is developed through different levels of intervention, ranging from minimal material and technical upgrades to complete transformations that reorganize layouts and increase the number of suites.
A large part of the fixed furniture and interior equipment was specifically designed for the project, incorporating pieces conceived to belong naturally to the identity of the building.
Lighting plays a decisive role in shaping the atmosphere of the rooms, using light and filtering elements that reinforce the relationship between light and façade.
The intervention in the Iballa Bar revisits the memory of the 1950s through a renewed material language based on marble, upholstered surfaces and finely detailed wall treatments.
The project combines restoration, custom design and spatial restraint to update the hotel without losing the architectural character that defines its historical presence.
