Transforming a Ruin into a Small Oasis. This small house located in the historic centre of Garachico, protected under the Special Preservation Plan of the historic district, was found in an advanced state of ruin.
RESTORATION OF AN 18TH-CENTURY HOUSE FOR A NOTARY OFFICE – Rehabilitation – Continuity Between Built Memory and Contemporary Use – The intervention restores an eighteenth-century building in an advanced state of deterioration, altered by successive additions without heritage value and affected by a fire in 1965.
RESTORATION OF A FARM BUILDING FOR ECOTOURISM ACCOMMODATION – Rehabilitación y Reforma – New Life for an Essential Agricultural Architecture – The intervention transforms a former rural outbuilding originally used for cattle shelter into a small ecotourism accommodation, preserving the austere and functional identity of the existing structure.
CONVERSION OF OFFICE AREA OF FERRY TERMNIAL INTO COMMERCIAL SPACE – Renovation – Interior Openness for a New Flow of Use – The intervention transforms the northern wing of the building into a new commercial area linked to the main route used by passengers and port visitors within the Santa Cruz de Tenerife ferry terminal.
